We are organizing a trip to Sturgis for the 2026 rally celebration.  We are looking for like minded interested riders and pillions to join us on this amazing trip of a lifetime.

We have multiple years of experience visiting the USA and the Sturgis Rally having also made a recent journey to the USA to research the best riding routes, accommodation to make it incredibly easy for those who have had the Stugis Rally on their bucket list.

The full trip from Los Angeles to Stugis and back to Los Angeles will take 25 days. If you are unable to allocate this much time away and would still like to come on the trip there is the option to fly into a city along the route and meet up with the group. 

​

We will be in the USA a week or so before we leave LA for Stugis to arrange things like bikes, support vehicle and anything else to make this trip amazing.  Depending on how many people come on the trip will depend on what type of support vehicle we will have.

 

The bike hire is expensive so you may want to consider purchasing a bike and either storing it in the USA or shipping it back to Australia after the trip.  For the same amount as you would spend on hiring you will be able to buy a bike although it will be older and possibly not as reliable. Most hire bikes are either current models or only several years old so should be very reliable. We have always purchased our own bikes for the Stugis trips so for those looking at this option we may be able to assist.

During the road trip we will be staying in varies motels and once at Sturgis we will be in RV’s or camping depending on your budget.   All the accommodation will be comfortable.

 

We will be leaving LA on the late July and returning on the mid August for those not wanting to ride back to LA from Sturgis you can return your bike to Denver and fly out from there on the 11th August.

For those who are interested in coming and do not want to ride everyday or would like to be a pillion only please get in touch as we have had several interested parties that either only want to ride every second day or are pillions only and would consider splitting the cost of the bike. There are plenty of options to also hire a second vike in Sturgis only although we will need to get these booked well before the Rally. Those choosing to not ride everyday will be travelling in the support vehicle or vehicles.

 

The Road Trip

 

Day 1  Los Angeles to Morro Bay (327 km)

Day 2   Morro Bay to Santa Cruze (300km)

Day 3  Santa Cruze to San Francisco (120km)

Day 4  San Francsico to Minden (330km)

Day 5  Minden to Elko (430km)

Day  6 Elko to Twin Falls (537km)

Day  7 Twin Falls to Alpine (375km)

Day 8  Alpine to Riverton (325km)

Day 9  Riverton to Gillette (400km)

Day 10  Gillette to Sturgis (185km)

We will be stopping at multiple towns, museums and places of interest several times on each leg of the trip.

​

Sturgis for 9 days then riding back to LA via Colorado, Utah, Nevada. We have done this part of the road trip several times and it can get extremely hot and challenging but definitely worth the experience.  We will be organizing the exact route for this part of the trip when know who is coming.

Cost will be approximate approximately AUD $20,000 PP  AUD$30,000 for couples.
